Damp club Saturday run. Littleton, Bearkly, stynchcoum wooton wickwar bark. Only 5 out drizzle early on then dried up and took cag off butr then the last hour it started drizeling agian and turned into a torential downpour for the end. As soon as I finished the sun came out!!!! Just going steady though quite a bit on the front to start with then Mark took over coming back which was good as it was into the wind.

All buit the last few KM of the ride where the torential rain proved too much for the computer...

Orienteering race (Night) 50:26 [5] *** 6.3 km (8:00 / km) +60m 7:38 / km
spiked:13/18c

First Night event of the year At Sandhurst Mark Blackstone organised us and driver over with myself and Roger Mann. Never been there before fairly pleasant. Course was a mixture of in the camp with a big sprint style map 1 to 5000 and then into the wood by the range on a map also blowen up to 1 to 5000 so no scale change then back to the camp to finish. There was only one technical controll no 10 and I managed to mess it up and loose about 4 mins which was realy anoying as it was clearly the critical controll and I should of been more carefull. Lost a minute on the next one just getting well off line but an easy relocation. Richard Barret did 39 and Colin Dixon 40, I just did not have the speed to go this quick with still coughing some. I suspect it was not there first time out there either....

Cycling (Road) 4:40:00 [3] 122.0 km (2:18 / km) +1220m 2:11 / km
shoes: Scott RC1

Wed run, big turnout, John, Paul, Mark, Mike and Stuart. Over bridge, Usk back route to Monmouth back down the Wye valley. Fairly although I did a good bit on the front so worked steadily apart from up out of Tintern where I had to work hard to hang onto Stuarts wheel. Bit of a head wind so just about managed it. Avoided worst of the rain just one shower coming back up the why valley.

Running (road) 55:00 [2] 9.0 km (6:07 / km) +80m 5:51 / km

Bok training from The Salt House Cleavdon. Was pissing down big style. Thought I was going to be the only one but Joe turned up at quater past and Phill turned up just after Joe and me had gone.... Around headland then main outer road to new inn up path over hill and back along coast path and sea front. Just kept going at a good steady pace with Joe. Pleased my Mce headlight showed no trouble with the rain.

Jackie and Clive turned up for the drinking. Clive had had an nextended cycle over 1.50 and then managed to get lost at the end comeing across the flat moor from Nailsea, ended up coming in via Yatton...

Orienteering race 1:26:00 [4] 9.6 km (8:57 / km) +100m 8:31 / km

CS Cup final brown. Groty area as I should of remembered as I had been there before with Accelerate training weekend. Lots of running a long way around and in my case rather slowly. A bit far for me realy strugelling by end with hard ground my feet and ankles did not apreciate it.
