Lots of warming up and stretching to prevent injury.

Speedy goat relay with my favorite partner Molly. Was a great work out before the billygoat. Everything was very simple so no real errors. Took first in the competitive 4-point category!

started off with a 10min warm up jog
then did a series of static stretching
4x100M sprints to get heart rate up

work out was 3x1mile intervals on grass/road at hibernia with a 3min break between each.

I'm going to be honest and just say that the woods here in Washington suck. Way too green and way too much stinging nettle. Also way too much climb. Seattle area is beautiful but not for orienteering in woods like this. Got second again to a local kid which in this terrain gives you a pretty big advantage. Suprised I even got second to the lack of effort I put fourth in these woods. Woods just arent worthy of having a US championship here. Can't wait to be back on some east coast terrain!
