10mila 2015 LS-37 II 10th leg

Re-start and I lead the pack for a whole 5s, woohoo! My map was already soaked before I even touched it so got a new one -> thus a good starting point :)
1-4 Thinking afterwards, I started way too easy. Had too much respect for the distance. At #4 I started to wonder why everybody goes the same controls...
4-5 Did a better route choice than Thierry :) Had to fold map 3-4 times again during the leg. Good control point after this long leg.
5-8 Don't understand why there are controls 6-7...
9-17 Loops OK. Half the way following NTNUI girl. Last year's 10th leg all over.
18 Only real mistake. Started to read to #19 while attacking #18 and off I went towards #19.
19 OK
19-20 Catched some ~45 year old guys and they didn't do a single meter of mistake. Thought this is my place to the end.
20-23 following these guys. They collected some others on the way as well.
23-24 head of the train stopped suddenly for some reason and I took the lead.
24-28 more or less I was leading
29 I thought I'd try the old relay trick and 2/3 of the leg done stopped and tried to look like I have no clue where we were. After a while went to the control all by myself
29-finish alone all the way. Should've watched compass more on the way to 31 but then again I found a nice unmarked path.

All in all I'm satisfied though I believe I could've run 10mins faster by just starting with better pace. Now I felt too good at the finish.

Otherwise pretty solid run but made a very bad route choice to #4. Last year the green area was good but this time NiKe had made it rather slow. I'd say I lost 1-2mins wandering on top of birch branches.
