Cycling 0 22:00 [3] 11.0 km (2:00 / km)

Home - Patomäki

Football 1:55:00 [2]
(injured) shoes: Adidas Copa Mundial

First Patari session of this summer. Boy had I waited for this!
Normally I suck the first couple times but this time I was in the game right from the start. Good game though the grass was too long.
And oh, I busted my knee... Opponent's kneecap hit above mine real hard (guys from the other side could hear it) but it didn't feel that bad. Afterwards cycling home it got worse and worse but I'm optimistic. As I said, the hit spot wasn't the knee but the small muscle above / inwards from the cap.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [1] 2.14 km (7:00 / km)
shoes: VJ Panther

Back and forth to Varrassuo and a bit extra.

Running (bog) 47:42 [4] 6.3 km (7:34 / km)
shoes: VJ Panther

Took quite a long way of spring for me to drag my ass up to Varrassuo. My goodness was it wet. Not a single step on even moderately dry land and loads of steps went knee deep. I would like to think this was the reason for my slowest ever time on three laps. And according to my GPS, the lap was over 100m shorter than it has ever been. I guess the harsh winter has shrunken Varrassuo...

Three laps
Lap/km-time
16'16/7'41
16'04/7'38

Surprise, surprise, 'round Great Brick Lake again. Every time that I don't know what to do I do this. Tomorrow maybe some Varrassuo.

Adults' orienteering school. We went short course with five "students" and I tried to teach something. Didn't succeed with one woman...

Orienteering 1:10:00 [2] **** 8.5 km (8:14 / km)

Passage training (don't know the english term..) by Hapsu.
I think this was the first time I did whole training of this. So it's a route that only pretty narrow passage / aisle is marked in the map and one should stay on it. Everything else is white.
Training was in becoming Lahti Suunnistus terrain. Brilliant terrain but also kinda deadly with these kind of weathers. What I mean is that I made quite a few frontside airs, nosegrabs and backflips... I didn't pay attention on map until the first hill. Instantly I realised / remembered who was behind the map. Some signature stuff could be found, or better said, not found.

Note

Added RG from FULC below. According to it I ran about 33.2km (7'04 / km).

Running 55:00 [1] 9.0 km (6:07 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer XIII

Easy recovery type of run round Great Brick Lake (first time this season). Cycling to work legs felt bad, cycling home better and while running pretty good. Thus I decided to take part to tomorrow's "passage-training" at becoming Lahti-Suunnistus terrain.
