Skiing 1:15:00 [2] 21.0 km (3:34 / km)

At SC's snowgun trail. Not quite sure about the distance..
Several orienteer sightings. Hämis, Eikka Gröhn, Tapio Lotta and most likely Salla Töyrylä.

Strength 1:00:00 [3]

First an "individual team pursuit sprint" by jusbet. Same idea as in track cycling's individual pursuit but in a relay way and with lots of direction changes.
Then a circuit training with nine stations and 40s/20s "pace". Three rounds. One station was a cartwheel. Not my thing...

Running 1:45:00 [2] 17.5 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer IX

With Hapardi, Wilho and Jape. Mooserock and Great Brick Lake. The local chaps made some wild route choises at Mooserock. I was a total passanger.

Running 1:15:00 [1] 11.0 km (6:49 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer XIII

The SC air was still full of snow as the guns were still doing their task. Some guy working there said that tomorrow there should be maybe 400m ready (one way).
So, I went for a jog. I walked all the downhills since the knee doesn't like them.

Floorball 45:00 [2]
shoes: Adidas Stabil

LS-37 session.

Floorball 55:00 [4]
shoes: Adidas Stabil

Workplace's floorball session at Energiahalli.
Very good intensity in the game. Actually quite rare for this session.

I was hoping to go ski afterwards but the snowguns had just started their task so I'll postpone it for tomorrow.

Note

A bit off topic but I finally got the time to finish the last winter's video project:
http://hirppa.kuvat.fi/kuvat/Video/ice_racing_2009...
It took so much effort that I have to advertise it everywhere..

Running warm up/down 40:00 [1] 6.5 km (6:09 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer XIII

15min up, 25min down.

Running race 28:45 [5] 7.71 km (3:44 / km) +115m 3:28 / km
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer XIII

Wasn't quite sure what to expect. Last real fast run was Kuivanto and it went well but it was a month ago. After that I've done more or less hours and not high intensity trainings. I would've been happy with under 30min time.
It started all too well. My legs had rocket engines and I had to restrain myself a lot. At the Sammalsuonkatu uphill I just couldn't hold back and I was quickly making a gap to everyone. At the top I had to stop due to crossing cars and the guys almost catched me. For the rest of the first lap the feeling was great but as the second one started a massive stomach cramp hit me. At this point Assu took the lead and I had great difficulties to follow him. At the third lap's climb I was maybe 8-10s behind him and Jape and Hämis had sneaked right behind me. Then the stomach cramp ended, suddenly Assu was closing and the foot steps behind fading. For a moment I tried to catch Assu but he had something in reserve.
Over 2½min improvement to my record (last March) so I have to be happy. But winning Assu was so close that I'm not 100% satisfied. Oh well, there's plenty of time for that at Sylvester.

Edit. I just analyzed the GPS-data and realised that on 2nd/3rd lap I lost 24s/16s on a single uphill. And it's only ~400m long and 35m high.. Maybe the first lap's 3'37 km-pace was a bit too much..

Swimming 1:15:00 [2] 3.2 km (23:26 / km)

I saved my knee for tomorrow and did some compensatory training. Beforehand I wouldn't have believed that I could swim over 3km with one try.

Doesn't look too good for POM2010 trip. At the moment only me and aaanttol are going. Would need at least 2-3 guys more...

Running 1:53:00 [2] 20.0 km (5:39 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer IX

Monday run with Assu, Hämis, Keinänen, Voimis and Jape. Can't remember when there would've been six guys attending.
Knee got bad at the end. Couldn't keep up with the guys at the down hills.
