Cycling 0 1:10:00 [3] 12.0 mi (5:50 / mi)

Tiilikangas-Patomäki-Tiilikangas
I left home 15min late so I had to cycle as fast as I could. Coming home wasn't that fast.

Football 1:45:00 [3]
shoes: Adidas Copa Mundial

Boy had I waited for this one! First Patari football session of this summer.
The game was already in play when I entered the pitch. My welcome wasn't quite the same as Sammy's today (1, 2, 3, 4).
This morning I was quite sure that I'm not gonna be able to play at all but after 15min of play I was even doing some sliding tackles. But only one header during the game...

Note
(rest day)

Our workplace's cafeteria wasn't open today and I didn't have anything suitable for breakfast this morning so I ate first time today around six o'clock. Home-bound cycling was a real chalenge.
After that the only excercise I got myself to do was changing tires. Yes, my car's tires. I guess I haven't driven it for a while then cause last time I drove it the winter tires were really needed.
Of course the rest day was also for tomorrow's Jusbet 30th birthday "Amazing Race" Varrassuo edition.

Odds:
Kimmos - 1.4
Divorced gay couple - 1.6
Elderly folk - 2.0
Orienteering masters of science (nerds) - 2.0
Rednecks - 2.5

Running warm up/down 45:00 [1] 7.0 km (6:26 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer IX

As I said after RaVi comp I wanted to try a bit longer warm up. And that I did. I really can't say did it help that much (cause "pollen's in the air") but I'm sure this wasn't the last time I try this.

Orienteering race 44:04 [4] **** 5.54 km (7:57 / km)
shoes: VJ Integrator

I had kinda given up aiming for the Jukola 1 team. But on the way to the competition I realised that map is done by Paulin. Then at the the competition site Tukiainen said to me "that was fun!" when he had just finished. So quality map and quality terrain. I started to feel a little anxious. Maybe I should still try...
Zeizei started the same time as me and as I suspected I saw him at the #1 and immediately made a 1min mistake. And to top it off, totally wrong direction to #2. Running the road to #3 I got myself together. Running was so and so but controls started to be exactly where I expected them to be. After #3 it was best orienteering this season but not the best running. Waiting for the pollen season to end. Although in some points it feels like I really don't know how to run faster. More or less technically. Wonder what would solve that problem..?

A bit of a surprise that I was the quickest in km-time
H21A1 Hirppa 44:04 5,54 7:57
H21A3 Jani 42:46 5,36 7:59
H21A2 Wilho 43:39 5,43 8:02
H21A1 Terkelsen 44:53 5,54 8:06

Note
(rest day)

In a way it wasn't really a rest day as I planned. OK Linné wanted some more controls and contours and I went after work to put the "snitselbands" (a new swedish orienteering word in the bank). I can say that Teivaanmäki hill is pretty slippery with flat bottom Skechers. Especially when carrying your bike on your shoulder...
If someone wants to chalenge Swedish national team guys times, be my guest. There are blue wiener snitselbands at the controls.
Tough choise today between early bed or UEFA Cup final.

Note

Tytti continued her brilliant sprints. Would be quite awesome to see LS-37 representant in NOC

Running 45:00 [3] 7.5 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer IX

My plan was to run over 1h fast or 45min slow. Depending on how tired I felt. I executed the latter one.

Running 1:50:00 [2] 19.0 km (5:47 / km)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer IX

Running to Sports Center and back to mark up a training for OK Linne.
I've been really tired today and running was the same. Gotta go to bed early.
After the run only 1,6kg to my Jukola weight goal.
