Monday run with Voimis, sulttaani, jusbet and Hämis.
Quite intensive cycling to home and the ever-growing feel of hunger didn't affect as much as I thought this time. Actually the running felt pretty good. Though I have to admit that the early kms (lead by berliner fueled jusbet) were a bit hard cause of the max speed cycling home.
On the last leg from Valtsu to home I saw someone skiing at Varrassuo with headlight on. Who admits?

First the plan was to go to the basic sunday afternoon floorball but while walking to the car I realised I would be a moron to go do indoor sport on a day like this. Then the plan was to ski to SC and back via Antsa's curves. At first and only pit stop at Tapanila I saw aaanttol picking his ski boots from his bag and his plan of 1½h route changed my route as well. While he got ready I skied few kilometers of SC route and then to Tiirismaa. The pace was more than enough to the top of the Tiirismaa hill and I had to ask how much time we had spent from Tapanila. It was half an hour. That meant about ~4min pace, about a minute less than I had planned for this 3h training. I restrained Aleksi a bit and he admitted it was fast for him too. Fortunately at Heinsuo I got to do my own pace and there I circled the missing SC route kms. And a bit more.
More of these kinda skiing weathers, please.

Korttelikuppi 2, Orimattila.
Had felt good all day and expected it to correlate to the performance. It didn't feel like it did but in the finish I heard I had lost only 1½min to the best time (Orhi).
Didn't make too much of mistakes. To #4 I took the wrong choice which I realised half way the leg. Also at #2 I spent maybe ½-1min looking for the cp and never found it. A.le.coq had searched it for longer time and also Koikka was there.

Monday run with Assu, Terkelsen and jusbet. First when I cycled home I cursed again the lack snow ploughs on the streets. Took me an hour to get home. Asics on but didn't help much. One of the worst surfaces I've ran on. Got my left knee again pretty painful.

30min of circuit training. Extra attention on glutes.

Some running and circuit training while doing a orienteering technique training.
We had teams, one member ran to the map, he took a one line of control description and tried to find it from the map. There was only one of each type of control description.

Korttelikuppi 1.
I was pretty heavily dosed so didn't expect much. Didn't feel anything in the back, knee ached at some points.
Few mistakes. First one at 7-8. On the map it looks the best but in the terrain didn't (1 - 5m of snow). Then the second one was that I forgot to visit the last control. I arrived to the finish, went inseide and while reading the emit I noticed myself from the map that "oh, there's a cp 15". They put a clock on and took the time for my visit to the cp.

Don't know what was wrong with my tracking system... My Nokia kept on asking which connection method I would like to use (wlan / internet / wap). Seems like it worked for few seconds and then nothing...

11h workday and massive back pain (or would be without pills).
Did a nice somersault while cycling to work. My brake pads were totally iced up and I noticed this in the half way of a downhill. Bicycle stopped to the bank, I didn't.

For some reason my back was really "stiff" this morning. It got worse and worse over the day and it came close I wouldn't have gone running. Went anyway. Over an hour it was bad but I guess after that it got warm. At that point knee got worse.

Monday run with Assu, jusbet and Terkelsen.
I cycled home in record time (for winter) and 5min after that I was running towards Bullis. I had put something to my mouth 7h ago and after 30min of running hunger started to make its way to my mind. Also calves were still really sore from last wednesday (and will be for several days..). Not to mention that the knee got bad after 1½h... But all in all, great run.

Tapanila + scouting out the best shooting (photos) points fot the weekend. Though I'm pretty sure I'll be stuck at the stadium.

My left knee is in bad shape. Didn't enjoy the yesterday's running on hard surface (with VJs in feet) at all. Some of the pain might be due to the pretty tight thighs and calves. Hopefully it'll ease with stretching.

District test run at Tapanila.
Pretty much the type of run I expected. Due to a bit over long work day my warm up was quite short. I could feel it affecting the run almost 1½ laps. Then after second Sammalsuonkatu uphill my running got a lot better. After this I ran almost the same pace as Hämis (I saw him almost in the same places on the third lap).
