Ronde van Vesijärvi. First time alone and first time without a pizza/kebab break. Maybe that's why the avg speed was the highest it has been.
From Sibelius Hall I had a goal to reach over 23 km/h. It went couple of times to 23.0 but got it to 23.1. Even with grocery store bag in one hand.
Highest speed I saw in the watch: 58 km/h. AP rounds it up to 50.

Tomorrow Tour de Vesijärvi. My team's only domestique bailed so first time on my own.

Was supposed to take it more easily but it was a mass start so I basically couldn't.
But I was so slow that after the first butterfly, I thought it would be just me. Then on 7th cp, saw a light that belonged to Saara. She had a better pace on the leg but I think my attacking was more efficient today.
We had almost the same course till the end and on last legs her light just gradually got smaller and smaller in the distance. This made me promise to myself that if my knee holds up, the placings will be vice versa in autumn season.

Wonder what's wrong with my tracking..? Didn't work yesterday nor a week ago. Just checked that the routegadget.txt is the way as it was in Assu's phone.

It was fun to finally orienteer in Finland. Eventhough sprint. Took it very easy since I haven't really run after the knee incident 2 months ago.
Knee didn't particularly enjoy it. Every step hurt. We'll see next weekend if it would like snowy terrain more.

Just when I thought this would be a perfect day (FC Lahti won the league cup) my back decided the other way around..
Planned to do the 5km loop from Tapanila but just before the Mörderbacken back got suddenly really bad. If I would've had a phone I would've called someone to pick me up. After that it was only double poling with straight back and very cautious kuokka in uphills.
And it's not even the same place it has been the past 1½ years...
