Test run for the Pääkaupunkijuoksu ½-marathon 27.9.2009 in Pirkkola. Huippukunto here I come, I was able to run with Matikka's warm-up speed trough the course, and that time includes Matikka's business call & "luonto kutsuu" -break. Legs were better than yesterday. Now I'm feeling like getting sick, I might have chosen a little bit wrong outfit. I had only technical shirt on me and at least 4 people who came against me were skiing.

Espoorastit in Petikko, Vantaa. Fluent orienteering after stiff start (no warmup) with long-distance pace. One bad routechoice while trying to avoid archers. Overall technical performance was adequate for sub100 placement in Jukola leg times, but speed was still far away from it. Should I try some intervals/leaps?

Iltarastit in Solvalla in really interesting weather, we witnessed everything between double rainbows and freezing showers to clear sky. Over 1 h (!) of real orienteering. I just HATE Finnish "competition calendar" with nothing more than 6km's middle distances.
