Classic skiing 53:04 [1] 1.4 mi (37:54 / mi) +29m 35:37 / mi

Classic, waxless slo-go with W. Packed SM on the trail - the corrugation center was lumpy, T around 32F. The only wax was on the glide surface, the kick zone was scales, no wax. Snow stuck there seriously. Sat on a boulder, then standing to get going really packed what was there. Scraped it off but. Call from Bruce - fielded that. Balance was not as good as I'd liked. Still all good.

Walking (Nordic walking) 1:04:52 [2] 1.18 mi (54:58 / mi) +54m 48:08 / mi

With W from Hampshire Hills spur to Stinger, to Eskar to Eastman, back to car. Trail SS packed, one fat bike tire set too - walking was easy inspite of what appeared as deep woods snow. Saw no one. First time on these trails tho I'd been on some Walker TF trails in past. Warmish, cloudy day. Let's Go!

Walking 36:00 [1] 0.55 mi (1:05:28 / mi) +12m 1:01:19 / mi

With Beth & W from Van Ger into Walker TF on Eastman Tr. Tr. head was signed, there were SS tracks packing it, so we went. Beth did not care for the descent after a bit due to it being a climb returning. -W & I continued on but she kept running back and forth between us. I saved it for another day.

Note

Renal angiogram at CH today looking for 'easy' solution to my hypertension but there was no renal artery stenosis. It seems that it's due to one of my 3 antibiotics as suspected. There is a likely response to stress that figures in as well. No lifting more than 8 lbs for a few days with fcst big snow tonight into tomorrow. Extra income for our driveway plowman if I can get him to do it.

Walking 1:04:02 [1] 1.55 mi (41:19 / mi) +128m 32:53 / mi

Elm Brook Pool with W. Bright, white, calm, maybe hi 20s - all told, nice. 1 car at end of road, spoke with no one. There was a sled track with two people, one towing, 1 walking beside. Thought maybe a young family. Finally they were the only tracks and had not returned. So I did get to see - two ice fishing people too far out on the ice to tell much else - but no third, of any size.
