BHS track. Came out of the library at 4p, to see light rain. The track needed visiting tho I thot momentarily of going to the Y. At BHS, the rain had stopped, and the legs felt ok to go though the mind hesitated.
Chilly, dreary, still air November end-of-day. Did this workout better than usual, V tach w/ wide QRS complexes on the globe. Attention-getting in an ED. Quite OOB tho after each 200. Felt good for doing it. Done at dark.
BHT tomorrow for those so inclined. Rain & chill forecast, part & parcel for November.

Went to BHS wondering if track would be availalble - but still being utilized by football. Haven't been there in quite sometime. Seems it was summer or early fall just yesterday & I could count on an empty track & a need to seek shade. Cool, gray today. Did the perimeter of one of the soccer fields after a walk warm up.
Gibson's after reminding myself which African countries are where.
Note
USOC in Virginia this weekend reminds me how going there in November was always something to look forward to - and occasionally returning in the spring to train. A prolonging of the season, a different terrain and, often, the prospect of visiting DC. Found a photo of Beth and Z&M (Mocha a few days short of 4 mos and now a few days short of 15y 4mo) dated Nov., 2002 in front of the FDR memorial. Later cherry blossom time. Hard to give such journeying up.

Kimball Pond excursion, nice enough day. Met a Dunbarton PD person in parking. He asked me if I knew where the semi-automatic rifle firing was coming from. I did. Surprised he asked as it was his town. The beaver dam caused a bit of anxiety with some ice on it and 1/2 moderately flooded. Met one hunter, top half of his body was 100% hi vis orange, wearing a balaclava and showing only his eyes.
