End of a period long on walks, short on exertion. Boat dlvy used 7 nights aboard. Tired & distracted a fair amount of that period. Nice to have the boat out of the drive - simplifies life. Nice walks ashore. We visited Scott C, still awaiting a new heart, in Harpswell. First time visiting Boothbay in all these years, more than 20.

Looking forward to an O meet tomorrow for welcome contrast.

I have one long enough undisturbed desk drawer in my study that I opened today to find a mommy mouse and babies in a nest. Closed it and will give them peace on earth for the time being.

BHS track around noon on a humid Sat, mostly cloud but sun peeking at times. Cooling west breeze. First time fora track w/o in more than a week. Took it easy, did not get to two miles as I had to go. It seemed hard to get the first "uptick" in motion.

Along Henderson Rd and MJC environs.

From BHYC in the opposite direction. Found a quiet enough road.

From Lyman's to Blackford's who were not there but a good goal. Had not been along Cushing roads since Sept. 2013.

Walk with Beth from BHYC into town and back. We'd never been to Boothbay. Very nice if a bit touristy. Were glad to be at the YC, making the walk necessary and from a quiet side of the harbor.

From Dolphin marina into the green, away from the fog & wind.
