Walking 35:00 [1]

Usual routine. Walked to the bog dam with Mocha this morning. Very cold and windy, but better in woods.

Drove to the brush dump for end-of-day DP, a big moon out and about.
A pickup came in, two either very friendly or overly-solicitous guys. It was too dark to read a plate. There was some junk in the back. I'd like to think they just wanted to smoke or drink a beer or something other than throwing the stuff on the ground. I'll willing to play cop in daylight, even enjoy being part of the catching which I have done twice. But this was gratuitous if it came to that. But why else does someone drive in there around dark on a Sat nite.

Walking 45:00 [1] 1.2 mi (37:30 / mi)

Two DPs, one out back and the other at BHS at twilight. Turee quite frozen and very white after the snow flurries today, a world apart from yesterday. It seems I have a water body fetish.

A second cold, windy weekend in store - nothing attractive about that.

Weightexercise workout 35:00 [1]

Windy morning - one branch landed on the roof with a bang.
Drove to Auburn, NH to deliver a tire rim and passed thru Lake Massabesic which was ice-free. Strange as well as nice to at last see "freed water".

Went to Kimball toward the late pm. It had only a free edge.

74F a year ago today - the world was different.

Cardio Rehab 50:00 [2]

Probably the best part is getting to know the participants. Had a lecture on what to seek out and avoid on the average local restaurant menu...all looked good to me.

Walking 35:00 [1]

With Mocha over by Concord Hospital in local woods. She "struck" showing a decided disinclination to return to the car.

On the way home, tried the skate snow by the BHS track which was OK.
Crusty but soft enough for an edge for 75m worth of surface. Got the HR up higher than I thought I should and stopped. One day short of 6 wks post-op with f/u visit a week from today.

Weightexercise workout 35:00 [1]

Drizzly, early spring kind of day.

Cardio Rehab 50:00 [2]

Late in the day, had a hard time staying awake at one point during a 30' talk.

So nice to see the extreme cold-wind gone, March lion stuff, whatever the etiology of the expression.

Note

Pleasant moment on the Charles

A smoke and a phone

Weightexercise workout 35:00 [1]

The cold of yesterday and early today directed us to a movie in town, one that started at 3:40, a first. Never thought I'd go to a movie in daylight. Red River was quite busy, even then. Our last few visits have been people-bare, esp. Super Bowl Sunday when there were 8 movie goers.

Went to the Y after. It was closing at 6pm which was unexpected, so less time to fight consequences of "macrophagia" w/o adequate cardio effort.
