Pretty much flat/rest days. Heart went into AF sometime last night & still is in it
so this will be an issue needing a solution. I was aware it might happen and is usually not addressed until 3 months post surgery. I'd hoped it might not occur (something like 50% post-ops).
We went for a drive out to Henniker for a sewing store. Saw lots of white landscape. It was a proper sunny winter day around 25F. Went for a drive on my own around 3:30 to Merrill Crossing and Crescent.

An extra night in the step-down unit due to several sessions of atrial fibrillation, two treated and one that reverted spontaneously. I've never been so cooped up given the initial 74 hrs in bed and then the requirement to remain on the unit for telemetry. I'll leave tomorrow, start cardiac rehab in 6 wks. and see where that leaves me. I do hope/expect to make fast progress thru a tailored rehab program. Time will tell.
