Walking 50:00 [1] 2.0 mi (25:00 / mi)

Various - with Mocha to OJR this morning & with Beth in East Andover area this pm. Took a ride from Contoocock north on 127 to Salisbury & east to Franklin & back. Nice to get to see some NH countryside incl plenty of fixer uppers scattered about reminiscent of a Dogs of March countryside.
Across the gulf, so to speak, was this version of Eden.

Walking 45:00 [1] 2.0 mi (22:30 / mi)

Close to two with Mocha. Turned cloudless over course of day. I call these days of on-hold waiting for a go-ahead on valve repair. Still would do well to go afield/put time into map walks etc. Bear Brook feels due.

Weightexercise workout 45:00 [1]

Weights again. Something has caused lumbago, either at the gym or around the house. Gray, rainy day.

Weightexercise workout 45:00 [1]

Most entertaining part of this visit was a small CHaD bus stuck in the parking garage - passing thru it as attempted was not even a close option. What were they thinking?

Walking 1:00:00 [1] 1.5 mi (40:00 / mi)

Walked the Chadwick CE with Ken. We'd done it 2 yrs before but it was freshly blazed and so we moved right along. The old dam portion, part of which I'd not seen, is one of the more impressive Bow stone findings forgotten in the forest.

Walking 1:00:00 [1] 2.5 mi (24:00 / mi)

KU walking - last there possibly as far back as 1968. A most impressive place. Visited the Student Union and Athletic Hall of Fame and drove many of the campus roads. Incredibly quiet on a Sunday morning considering some 28k students. Fun to find Jim Ryun’s memorabilia in the HOF. He was the first HS miler under 4’ and HS middle distance icon of my day. Also old stars Billy Mills, Glenn Cunningham and Al Oerter attended KU.
