Note

Boston CME days. And a hot one, too, today (94F). Inside from about 0710 to 1710 except for 50' at lunch but that was partly spent at BPL. AC is nice but outside on the streets is pretty absorbing with sounds and sights. Staying in the South End at an Air B&B on Tremont St, so city noises to mostly ignore. Many interesting lanes, small tree-canopied streets, brick buildings/facades, green space parks and cubby holes. We wondered why the SW Corridor Park had no visible benches. We sat on a wall outside a dog park then subsequently noticed a bench in pleasant shade. Went to it, puzzled by three bolted crosspieces of wood, demarcating 4 sitting spaces. But then a bulb went on. It was otherwise a most pleasant place to sleep the night's ETOH off etc. High rent "benching it" made mostly impossible. South End is unfamiliar to both of us.

Did have an insightful & humorous talk on exercise rx. It is true one can create decent exercise sessions virtually anywhere and almost any time - a will, a way kind-of-thing. So it appears it's will power I'm in search of.
