Long Hilly
Finally got out the the Lochnagar loop that I was keen to do last month. Beautiful day, blue skies and hard pack snow above 850m made things a breeze to run on. Started hard up the steep zig zags to Broad Cairn. Died before the top but think this was because my bumbag was bouncing ludicrously with a weird jacket tying combo. Sorted things out and then enjoyed some amazing scenes heading through the plateaus -

However, could see some thick cloud coming in around 1050m and sure enough by top number 4 I was getting quite panicked and lost. Had followed footsteps to the top of 'Carn a'Choire Bhoidheach' but unfortunately there was nothing linking Lochnagar. Took a vague bearing but strayed well off and lost a bit of height. Snow started, whiteout, couldn't tell ground from sky and started my prayers just as the cloud cleared again and I found some walkers heading up Lochnagar. All good from here on, took the waterfall way down and knee started hurting but ignored it and thumped the last few km as hard as possible which meant sub 4s, still happy enough with the effort. Nice to do again without any fuel and hamstring once again happy.
