Culbin - Colour Coded - Brown - 10.1km - 180m climb
Amazing day, amazing area, amazing personal condition made up an amazing run. Race pace all the way round, got knackered at about 8km. Not really any mistakes, a few near misses cost me overall 2 minutes but its never easy to have a clean run in Culbin. Hip still a bit annoying and got a few blisters towards the end.
1st/18 - Drew 4 minutes down (he made a big mistake) - then Rob and Dad 20 minutes down

Took it reeaally easy because of my hip, made no mistakes and won (Calum basically did the course twice over)

Only me and another 13 year old, rubbish weather. Came first and apparently beat the record by 6 mins, don't think there was ever a real record. Pretty happy with the pace, lots of it was off path and mud. Hip playing up on the downhills.

Pretty fast, only one mistake on #5 where the contol was in a deep pit which wasn't visible unless you fell in.

Spent 15 mins chatting and changing and then set off back home through Hazelhead. . 100m more downhill than uphill. Right hip beginning to play up more and more in the past few days. Hopefully it'll be okay for tomorrow's race!

Got invited to the Tuesday sessions by Ewen and I gotta say, it was great. Not pushing the flats but trying to keep the same pace on the uphills, really good fun. Going to do the junior race on thursday and think i'll join the cosmics for tuesday and possibly saturday runs.
