**PB for HALF MARATHON**

Well, actually that was my first half marathon ever... I had a few doubts going into the race whether I had trained enough and whatnot... but once the race started, I just tried to enjoy the run and the beautiful weather we had in Linz today... was very happy with my first 10k but couldn't quite finish at that pace... 1:47 is still satisfactory for me, seeing that I had only had 2 months to get ready

Indoor soccer with my colleagues... there were a total of 5 header scores today... none by me, though :-/

So my plan for today was to do an early morning run but I got up too late and started at 11.30... I still dressed for an early morning run, which was mistake #1 as it turned out to be quite sunny and I was definitely dressed too warm

mistake #2 came when I spontaneously changed my plans and decided to do a long run to Saalachspitz and back... I felt good for the first part but running back I ran out of energy and was so thirsty from sweating so much that I had to take a break at around Markartsteg... from there I walked to Fisch Krieg where I found a water fountain that pretty much saved my life ;)

Running 13:14 [3] 2.4 km (5:31 / km)

easy cool down run back from Fisch Krieg to Überfuhrsteg... walked home from there
