I thought I would feel amazing by this time in recovery week. But my legs felt heavy and sluggish. It started to feel good at the end when I stretched out my stride. Must try do that instead of just plodding

I’m doing a recovery week this week. Having run 3hrs each of the past 3 weeks, this week i plan on running 1.5hrs and using the remaining time for pilates. I feel so good for doing it. Todays run, in the rain, would’ve normally been a tempo hill run. And I think my body would’ve been close to breaking. Instead I explored some nice trails and enjoyed running without headphones or strava. Felt refreshing
