Running long 2:00:46 [3] 20.4 km (5:55 / km) +850m 4:54 / km
shoes: 5's

Went for a run with PatS. he'd made a mountain loop which i'd been excited about all week. maybe it was the double coffee triple vodka i had at 2am but i just felt full of energy today. The hilly section in the first hour was a breeze, i just felt good good on the hills. In the longer technical winding stuff i just tried to keep a consistant pace and avoid falling into the thick black mass of puddle that popped up everywhere. unfortunatly i didnt avoid them all and finished the run with a black leg and a white leg.

Really enjoyed this run, but dont know if i could do the same loop again alone- i'm getting a bit sick of the mountain i think

Note: realised quads werent sore from kicking the football, it was from the intense interval session. ouchies

Strength 30:00 [3]

Morning session, upper body. I find that it's keeping me awake in the morning uni classes

Note

kicked a footy round with Wheel Bag Guy at uni, went for about 20min. i never realised how much it hurts your quads just trying to bomb it as far as possible

Running intervals 22:59 [5] 6.48 km (3:33 / km)
shoes: 5's

Met up with cal and claire at the domain. I've never really done a track session. my god it showed. I was pretty much just running head to head (mostly face to arse) with cal doing 8x 400 with 200 float. god i felt wrecked from it. Cal talked me into a 3 or 5 min break after 4 x 400 and i swear that made the 5th rep hurt so much more.

Really good to push myself like this. i know i'll be sore in the morrow

Running 1:04:02 [3] 11.02 km (5:49 / km)
shoes: 5's

Tried a run along sandy bay road and up trugg track. Was followed by a few footballers going for a run, but their sleek buff bronze legs had nothing on my hairy white (chicken) wings. Then jogged around the maze of tracks mt nelson has to offer. I had no idea that area was so so good! its like a mini mt wellington right next to uni

shoes: 5's

Such a struggle. body just didnt want a bar of this one. It was 27degrees and i hadnt had a drink all day though.
pretty impressed with my time management skills. lecture finished at 3, had to be at work by 4.15 and its a 30min commute. managed to pop this run between uni and work. now if only all my assignments were this well managed

Did dads long run today. he's training for the gold coast marathon so i think i'll do some long runs with him. Wore proper shoes for the first time this week which caused some confusion to my legs. Slow run, but i was pacing dad and hadnt had breakfast. nice day for it too

Not sure yet if i'll go to easter or not. it's getting close but i've got plenty to do here in tas
