Running warm up/down 20:00 [3]

Me and dad just ran around the domain trying to find a good hill to use for hill sprints this morning, went over a few hills in search of a good one

Running hills 32:46 [4] 5.08 km (6:27 / km)

Went to the domain to do some hill sprints, 3 min up a winding road track then cut down the hill and only takes a min to get down. pretty good work out. i did 6 reps, 2:50, 3:19, 3;24, 3:20, 3:27, 3:35. Depended a bit on the oncoming traffic that i had to avoid. Would have liked to do 8 reps but the number of single men driving by was increasing so i ditched off

Running 32:46 [3] 5.08 km (6:27 / km)

ran home from the Domain. the run has 6 good hills on it, including a killer at the end thats 900m (7min) long

Running (pm run) 29:42 [3] 5.5 km (5:24 / km)

Went for a run after work just because I finished at 5, just so i could break in my new shoes. jogged around, but was very hungry and dehydrated after 20min and struggled to finish the end of the run

Orienteering (control setting) 2:30:00 [1]

went to put out controls with Waynes daughter rachel. Took ages as the map is shit, really vague and hasnt been updated in ages. a boulder is about ankle high at points.Took a long time at each control just making sure it was in the right spot (still not sure if they are all correct, but anyone who argues we put them in the wrong spot should be quiet as the map is really average) It also poured with really really heavy rain the whole time

Running 25:00 [3]

Put a control number on the wrong control, right at the end so i had to run back and swap them. it was a good day for a run as the bush smelt good and i felt comfortable. knee is good today, it seems to be such an on off problem

Running 4:30 [3]

went for a run after buying new shoes. ran for around a k, and my knee was killing me and i could hardly walk. i really should get it looked at. then when i went home to book a dr appointment but they are booked till wednesday

Orienteering race (local) 23:16 [5] 4.81 km (4:50 / km)

Schools event from rose bay high today. had two small errors because i underestimated how much concentration i needed to run and read a map. Pat S beat me by 11 sec, glad to see some competitive people are coming back to run. id felt lazy all day today, ate too much

Running (Recovery) 27:19 [3] 4.68 km (5:50 / km)

Just 3 laps around my hood for a light recovery. fair few hills for a recovery run but there are no flat places near my house. I wanted to do 4 laps but a neighbour i dont want to talk to was walking his dog on the loop so i pulled out

Running long 2:03:15 [3] 24.11 km (5:07 / km)

Started a run on the estern shore, just near the tasman bridge. ran along a gravel track to rosny school, then cut accross to bellrive beach, then ran along the beach till i got to tramere. had a short bit on the road then ran along the water front at tramere along a dirt track untill my watch hit 60min. then i turned and went back.
It was a good flat run, with a nice mix of 1/3 on beach 1/3 on gravel tracks and 1/3 on pavement. nearly threw up all through work due to over eating when i finished this run, worth it though

Calves still feeling sore, did this run after work. its a loop of my old high school oval, then a run down the road to another schools oval, do a loop, then down the road again to another oval, do a loop. then do the same thing in reverse. takes a fair while for what is essentially 6 laps of an oval
