Running race (Cross country) 41:03 [5] 10.33 km (3:58 / km)
ahr:186 max:200

Local cross country run at opossum bay. It has been raining for the past 2 days and didnt stop today. The course was on old overgrown 4wheel drive tracks. One lap of the course had about 500m on the beach, 2 long hills and 2 very steep hills. we had to do 2 laps for the 10k.
I was really happy with my time, especially for the conditions. Had a bit of fun chacing down tim sloan (think thats who it was) on the last lap and just getting past him in a sprint to the line.

Running 49:10 [3] 9.55 km (5:09 / km)
ahr:143 max:190

It was raining alot during this run. Also got dark and a heavy fog came down just as i was getting home. Lucky i wasnt running any longer because visability was down to 30meters or so. Casual run, lots of uphills. Surged to race a bus over 2 small hills. I was close to beating it cause it had to stop for passangers but in the end it just got away from me... devo

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]

For the first time in ages i did a proper warm up and warm down for a race.

Running hills 27:43 [5] 4.64 km (5:58 / km)
ahr:167 max:188

I didnt have much time to fit in a session today. Wanted to do something a bit more powerful, the idea of a steady run in this rain didnt excite me today. Went to a long steep hill near my house to do hills. Recovery was just the run down to the next start point.
Divided the hill into 4 lengths :Long (2min) middle (1min) Short (30s) very short 10(s)

Did 4 x middle-long-short. the short was the hardest of all cause i only had 30s recovery (the run down) after doing the long.

Finished with 10 x very short hills which only took about 3 min.

Good session, enjoyed doing hills again for the first time in ages
