rode to uni today for the first time. used my cheap non branded bike and didnt wear any Lycra. despite this i seemed to do alright and made it to uni in good time.

geeeez springfield ave and ripley rd are massive hills. rode them both but bloody hard. in conclusion the ride home is far harder than the ride to uni.
cant believe its almost march

woah. first game of the season, only in reserves cause my knee had been feeling a bit odd. so soccer unfit. I was walking as much as possible when ball was out of play and stuff just to make sure i lasted the full 90. we were down 3-0 at half time. then pulled back a goal early in second half. let in another 3 toward the end due to team lack of fitness. i felt good though. result Uni 1 - Tarroona 6

Game at end of session. I was playing wing, something i've never done, seemed pretty comfortable out there. not quite fit enough for all the up and back running

Run the bridge run today. Pretty good to see where i am compared to last year, apparently i'm 2min 43 slower as i did 38:57 last time. Not bad though, just have to keep working on it

I'd rested yesterday and most of today based on the assumption i'd be going to soccer training tonight. However at 2:30 the rains came v heavy, there is just blanket low white cloud over hobart. Doubt there will be any formal training. So i decided to do upper body, arm and core work out at home instead

Rain cleared up by 6:30 so i went to soccer. Good turn out, starting to get to know some of the guys. first 45min were just passing drills with constant light running

Part of the session, but the intensity was a lot higher. Had more sprints and explosive runs
