Orienteering 36:00 [3] 5.5 km (6:33 / km)

One of the variants of the corridors left by the training group in March. I went out often and kept getting screwed up. I really do need to work on this stuff.

Orienteering 42 [3] **** 5.9 km (7 / km)

Another variant of the butterfly loops in reverse. I was trying to grt competitive with Rorri. That ended when he dropped out. Really screwed up 12 and 5. Yea just way off.

Running 50:00 [3] 10.0 km (5:00 / km)

Morning workout

12x1 minute with 30 second jogs. Original plan was to do 16x1. But my body is still recovering from the sickness. My heart felt like it was going to jump out of my chest at the start. But as I continued things evened out and I was golden. Covered about 300 meters in twisting, rolling trails every minute. Not super fast, but good for a first workout back.

Running 1:05:00 [3] 14.0 km (4:39 / km)

Easy run in La Dehesa. Ran into a badger and he told me quite firmly to go the other way. I listened.

10x20/40's. Almost back.

Running 55:00 [3] 11.0 km (5:00 / km)

Easy day back from being sick (and probably still a little sick). Had 65 on the schedule but this wasn't bad. I was able to fit in 3x20/40's also.

This sickness came at a pretty terrible time for training. But no use crying over spilled milk. I have to keep on as best I can. I have got some solid weeks of training/sleep ahead of me here. I am feeling strong all things considered.

Note
(sick)

What I thought was poor recovery from the heat has turned out to be a nasty gastroenteritis virus. I took off work today and have slept probably enough for the next two weeks. I am feeling better now. Still got some pretty terrible headaches though

Note

I was stupid and stubborn on Sunday and decided to continue exercising even during the heat of the day . This has screwed my system and I have bad headaches, fatigue, nausea, and achy joints. So I am taking another day off today. I have been cooling off my body as much as possible. Cold showers, ice hats, sleeping in the cool basement. Let's see if I am ready tomorrow morning for an easy run.
