Running long 1:30:00 [3] 17.0 km (5:18 / km) +750m 4:20 / km

Long run up to El Yelmo from Manzanares. Realllllly rough singletrack trail. In a lot of places it seemed like I was just climbing up an almost vertical boulderfield. It was a really beautiful view from the top. Really great day. I also didn't get too tired despite climbing that much. Really good sign.

10x1 minute hill reps with 2 minute recovery jog in La Pedriza. My heart and lungs were feeling it but my legs never really hurt. Interesting to not have any burn. Naturally I felt strong.

Exploring town and then running out on the lake trail to keep the climb to a minimum. 5x20/40's.

Easy run up to El Yelmo. Didn't make it all the way there. I just need a bit more time to make it there. It's nice to have such a big climb right outside my door. I did find LOTS of goats. Pop-quiz: what sound do mountain goats make in Spain?

Easy day on the roads around Soto. Ran behind the reservoir and had to go off-trail to get back to town. May have gone through a few ranches with bulls... that just counts as speed training, right?
