Running 3:00:00 [3] 28.0 km (6:26 / km) +1200m 5:18 / km

A tough mountain run from Cotos back home. First section was off-road with the FEDOboys and then rocky trails the whole way back. Climbed three 2200 meter peaks. Cold and lots of rocks. Coming down was the hardest part. Amazing temperature change from 2 degrees up top to 23 degrees in the valley. Not a run to work on foot speed, but certainly worth it for the endurance and the views.

Running tempo 1:05:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:20 / km)

25 minute warm up, 30 minutes at tempo pace around the Dehesa, 10 minute jog cool down. I made it almost three laps. Almost 8k so it was a good effort over rough terrain.

Running 1:45:00 [3] 16.0 km (6:34 / km) +350m 5:55 / km

A mix of orienteering and running. I started a training course with the FEDOboys but I was orienteering so badly I decided to stop it. I don't like reinforcing bad habits. I was running unfocused and tired from work. I've done a lot of navigational training over the past few months. It's about time I take a rest from it.

Note

I will put up more updates soon from the Spanish Champs. Until then, check out the GPS tracking (I didn't have a gps unit, but it shows the map.)

Note

My knee has a worrisome tingling in it. I'll take it easy for a bit so this doesn't become a problem.
