Running 50:00 [3] 11.4 km (4:23 / km)

Great run today! I was just planning on an easy run in Dehesa de la Villa with a map of La Berzosa. Then I got there and found one control, then another, then another. And eventually I found the high school that was putting on an orienteering event. I asked them for an extra copy of a map and they challenged me to a race. I beat everyone by just a bit. Real fun, real easy.

I also got my tattoo today. Looks great. Bad news is that during the "procedure" they told me that I wouldn't be able to run for 4 days. I wasn't expecting that. Kinda gets me angry. But I am going to listen to them since I really would rather not mess this up. I'm going to try to look at this in a positive light and see what good a bit more rest can do for me.

Orienteering 50:00 [3] 11.1 km (4:30 / km) +250m 4:03 / km

A good sprint orienteering training in parque del oeste since I got a class cancelled. I did this training on my own since I got an extra long lunch hour. Just printed out maps around Madrid from DOMA and decided to do 50 minutes in Parque del Oeste. It was pretty fun. Just sooo hilly. It's not terribly steep but the fact that you're always either climbing or descending makes for a difficult run.
