Running 1:35:00 [4] 14.4 mi (6:36 / mi)

Progression run on our 4 mile loops. I was with Schelander and Gillette until the last third. Then they started running 5:35 uphill and my body said no. I was still rolling at 6:00-6:10 for the last 30 minutes which hurt but it was good. Followed by a breakfast extravaganza.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 8.3 mi (7:14 / mi)

Duck pond loops. Legs feel really really tired from the workout last night. At least I know it's working me.

Warm up and cooldown

Running 45:00 [3] 7.0 mi (6:26 / mi)

Friday night workout. WOOT. I was still feeling Wednesday's workout in my legs so the last 5 of this workout were really hard.
Workout was 18x400 meters @ 75-78 on 75 second recovery. That hurt.

Coach let us go a bit on the last one. But that was just a lot of 400 repeats. It wasn't a really blazing fast pace. But it did work me well. The short recovery cost us a lot too.

Running 30:00 [3] 4.3 mi (6:59 / mi)

Duck pond. Right knee hurting at first. Went away as the run went on.

Running 50:00 [3] 7.3 mi (6:51 / mi)

Duck pond with Reilly. HOT! but it was a little shady in some spots. Better than on the roads.

Running 21:40 [3] 2.9 mi (7:28 / mi)

10 minute Warmup 5x 20/40s 6:41 Cooldown to make my time an even 80 minutes.

Running 58:19 [3] 9.5 mi (6:08 / mi)

Wow I had to tell Coach that he found a really good workout with this one. I was hurting bad. It worked me exactly in the way that leaves me weak. I need that. That's how I get better. It just hurts a ton getting there
The workout was confusing to say it simply.
6x2000 meters on 3 minute recovery jog.
First 800 was at 2:48-2:53, next 800 was at 2:40-45, last 400 was at 73-75
Overall 6:41-:53
So at each marker we picked up the pace and that hurt... a lot!
Times:
6:42 This one was way too fast for the first 800 so after that Eric Evans and I broke off and ran just me and him and hit the paces right on.

The only paces that were slow for me were the last 400s on the last two. I was hurting so bad that during that last 4 that I just couldn't turn it over that much. I ran 77 and 78 instead of 75. Not too bad. I did turn it over. If we do more workouts like this I'll keep getting better at this. I'm looking forward to it.

Running 50:00 [3] 7.3 mi (6:51 / mi)

I woke up early and couldn't fall back asleep so I decided to go for an early morning run at Duck pond. I love running there in the morning. Now to study for my test.
3 PM

Running 30:00 [3] 4.3 mi (6:59 / mi)

Rail trail alone. It's getting hot out. Feeling strong.

Running 1:10:00 [3] 9.7 mi (7:13 / mi)

I found a new mile long loop at Duck pond. I was doing a lot of those. I felt great. There were just random times when I suddenly started picking up the pace. Probably not hammering the long run gave me a little more energy.

Coreworkout 10:00 [3]
