Running long 2:00:00 [3] 18.1 mi (6:38 / mi)

Long run on a muddy, partly snow covered forbidden drive. Parts of it were dry so it wasn't that bad. Saw my friend Pat while I was out there and ran with him for a while. I started getting really tired towards the end my pace started dropping off and thought I might've gone out too fast. I stopped and drank some water because I was feeling pretty thirsty. I started up again after a minute and I was right back into it with a 6:13 mile. The uphill, warmup and cooldown slowed down my overall pace alot but I was flying on the drive. I thinked I averaged about 6:25 for the section on the drive and it didn't feel that bad so that's pretty good.

Running intervals 1:18:00 [4] 10.0 mi (7:48 / mi)

Workout at Roxborough Track. 57 degrees out and sunny with a slight amount of wind. This was definently alot harder since I ran it alone. But I got it done so that's what counts.
20:00 minutes at Threshold. Covered 5.6km so I averaged 5:45 for the whole run. That felt fairly easy.
5 minute recovery jog.
4x1200 meters at Interval pace with a 4 minute recovery jog.
3:46
3:47
3:50(had some stomach issues so I took a 5:30 recovery jog instead after this one)
3:45
10 minute cooldown.
It definently hurt but I'm glad with how I dealt with it. Turned out well.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 8.3 mi (7:14 / mi)

Recovery run in the morning before classes. Felt great and had a great attitude towards the run. Really beautiful day out.

Coreworkout 25:00 [2]

Core O'clock at night. Feeling really easy to do the whole routine now. I must find some way to make it more difficult.

10 Lead Leg and Trail Leg drills
2 Walk throughs on each side
5 Trail leg run throughs
2 Lead leg run throughs

Running 1:35:00 [4] 14.6 mi (6:30 / mi)

I was expecting an easy run today but when I got to practice coach informed us that we had a progression run planned. So first 30 minutes were easy next 30 minutes were moderate and the next 30 minutes were comfortably hard. Was averaging about 5:47 or 48 for the last 30 minutes and it hurt but I liked pushing through it. Gave me a good reason to get angry and let some stress out.

Running 1:00:00 [3] 8.9 mi (6:44 / mi)

Went out with the guys for a nice quick run. Felt pretty easy and I realized how long it's been since I've run with a group that big (8+ people) It makes holding a pace like that a lot easier.

Weight Training 15:00 [2]

Just worked the lower body. Not trying to get too much into weight lifting again I just want to work on my lower body in hopes of improving steeplechase and running economy in general. 2x20 on the lower leg machines offered in the athlete weight room.
