Note

Pro tip 1. Before rolling, warm wine bottle in microwave with a little water.

Pro tip 2. Remove the metal stickers first.

Long, slow run. Bit of surveying locally, then around the back of the zoo and back.

A bunch of stretching earlier. Need to do more, and to be more diligent about the calf exercises, which I have only been doing sporadically. Still not right, but will hopefully be okay to orienteer in two weeks.

Note

Drafting in OCAD /parallels/mac would be so much nicer if control-right-click worked.

Skiving with Ondra from La Combe du Lac. Way faster than I normally go, and then really sped up from the car park to the apartment.

Good times.

I wonder how many new subscribers there are since AP started featuring on woo.

The xc ski tracks break to cross their car park.
7 AM

skiing 40 [3] 5.13 km (8 / km) +151m 7 / km

Pre-breakfast. Avoided a hole. Downhill, downwind to start with... which meant a tough return. Cloudy but nice.
11 AM

skiing 1:00 [3]

Skiing from Evolene. Seemed slower than yesterday evening.

Said hi to the locals before leaving.


The Pyramides d'Euseigne are pretty cool.
