trail run 1:00:00 [3]

To Kivinokka, went for a swim, lay out on the rock afterwards, no need for Turkish slabs of marble here. So much plant life around and about, and lots of cute cabins on Kivinokka nestled amongst the trees.

Caught the end of NORT1. Can't say these Nordic sprints inspire me all that much, not that this was a bad one.

Note

google translate is great, but occasionally it does something funny like changing "Mikko Laakso" into "Department of Neurology"

3km iltarastit 2009 course, Herttoniemi, since the map is right here. Finland is lovely this time of year.

Note

Tired, otherwise I might have considered leaving work at 3pm to take public transport to make my 6:28 district middle champs start time.

Klaukkala
One-man relay, but not that many people there, and I'm still tired, lymph nodes a bit swollen (but feeling ok), so not exactly racing. On the last loop there were a couple of RR guys around, I was mostly ahead, pottering along, not losing too much time. I thought I was clear but one of them had a shorter gaffle at the end, and I didn't care enough to take him. Fun anyhow. Terrain was physical.

Over 1000!

running 1:15:00 [2]

To/from work.

Definitely had a drink or two too many on Saturday, banquet-training.

Rested most of yesterday, no headache or nausea, but definitely slow and tired and feeling a bit rough. Still not 100% today, but should be grand tomorrow.

Note

The bears made the news.

100/3

And 2 controls short of the thousand in the past four months. Probably more than ever before in such a period, and that's despite the winter.
