O-festivalen chasing start, long.

Fairly motored for the first half, AHR about 180... despite a mistake at the 5th where AQs train dropped me. Some of them caught me again (!) at the 8th... Got tired towards the 11th... kept going... fell into a big swampy stream and bashed my knee en route to the 15th... had to do some map memory as I was covered in mud up to my chest... it was heavy... another mistake, but only 2 mins behind aq at this point.

v tired 15-36, slowed down and navigated less well and cracked my knee again - had to walk a hundred metres... dropped 15mins to aq on this section

sports drink would have helped!

no proper warm-up didn't help. no warm down either wasn't smart. rt calf is tight

Ran the WC Qualie course by Universitetet. Interesting, not sure I took optimal route choices, and the map seemed a bit funny in places.

Note

up at 6:25, out the door 6:45, worked most of the day at the NORT sprints in Stockholm. I got a horn to blow in case someone did a false start. Unfortunately they were all very well-behaved.

Finished work sometime after 9pm... out in the sun for a lot of the day, which got a bit much. AQ bought me a nice big ice-cream.

3rd leg, long night. Pulled the team up 146 places, despite losing ten minutes more than I should. Have to do a proper write-up soon.
