running warm up/down 20:00 [2]

orienteering 35:55 [4] 5.1 km (7:03 / km)
ahr:180 max:191

Garmin distance 5.65, and Winsplits claims I didn't make a mistake. If only!! Lots of small mistakes under 30 seconds, maybe lost up to a minute on the long 7th control.

Could do this so much faster (32 or so) if I knew how to orienteer. It was so much easier orienteering on this 1:10000 map :)

Happy enough since I didn't do any major mistakes (timewise).

Note

After training yesterday I started to feel my nose/throat going again.

Gargled lots of salty water before going to bed and stayed there (apart from a break at breakfast) until 1pm... don't feel as bad as I did last night, but def no training for me today.

Need to get more clothes from Poland.

orienteering 1:40:00 [2] 10.0 km (10:00 / km)

IFKL Club training is pairs. One person runs behind with the map and tells the mapless person in front where to run and what to see (eg run up the hill, down the other side to the left of the spur, across the marsh, up the next hill...

Did it with Antonio. It was fun because it was novel. Antonio seemed better at directing than me...
It got dark so we had to skip the last few controls.

orienteering race 1:55:22 [3] *** 13.4 km (8:37 / km)
ahr:165 max:179 spiked:8/21c

Linnéklassikern
Vänge Syd, a bit w of Uppsala
Boris planned the course. Despite that, I have no complaints ;p reasonably technical, very little dead running. Didn't run particularly well. Partly not used to 1:15, partly had difficulty with navigation and with recognising areas where the runnability would be good.
Also I wan't running super fast. Yesterday was the first classic I ran in months and months, probably since ofestivalen!

Marshes were full :)

running 12:00 [3] 2.2 km (5:27 / km)

Running to the start. Arrived with 3 minutes to spare...
