trail run warm up/down 25:00 [2]

To the start of the middle, to and from the Sprint start/finish areas.

orienteering race 54:41 [4] 6.13 km (8:55 / km) +190m 7:43 / km

Belgian TriO - three races two days around Chiny (World Cup 2002 terrain). Didn't recognise any of the forest :)

Made a huge mistake on the 4th, or at least lost contact and couldn't quite make sense of where I was... lost maybe 5 minutes? Another big mistake (worse, even if I lost less time) on the 9th, bad route choice to the tenth...

FPasquasy ran 40 minutes, and he lost 4 minutes on the tricky fourth control.

Lovely forest (Le Taillis des Prussiens) to run through

orienteering race 20:38 [5] 3.0 km (6:53 / km) +90m 5:59 / km

Sprint Race Chiny
Lost a couple of minutes early on in the race, gained back ten seconds by not punching the 11th control - had preplanned route out of 10 back towards 11, but this was also the good route to go towards 12... je m'en veux... going to stop making cockups...

trail run 1:11:38 [3]

orsay, much cooler (21?) today, wet too.

there were a couple of trees fallen over the last few days. storms have been taking their toll.

running a good bit faster than the last couple of times I ran this loop.

trail run hills 36:29 [4]

orsay, one loop over 2, four under (1:38, 43, 57, 40)

friggin tired (more mentally than physically)

running in light rain, there is thunder and lightning every day these days...

Note

3hrs mapping in orsay, probably took 4 to draw it in ocad. i'm not very fast.

looks like over 150hrs work left at the very least.

trail run 54:17 [3]

St Rémy les Chevreuse, up and around onto the plateau and arrived in Bois de la Madeleine!! So if I move out here next september I'll be more or less living by a (small, not particularly exciting) orienteering map. Saw cows and horses and stuff, but no studio. Definitely not Paris!

got some climb in
