RHINO. Took the first 5 or so controls to re-learn how to do night-o. Nice course by Charlie. Conditions were good: temps in the 30's, no precipitation, and the ground and marshes mostly frozen. Consumed far more calories after the event than I did while running. Straightline distance was 2.8 km with 130m climb.
Tried something new (for me). Did 2 km, whatever that means. At least it involves some upper body stuff. Minimal soreness the next day, so maybe I can try to go a bit harder next time.
Cold, dark, snowy = dreadmill. A couple of faster segments, a couple of steeper segments. Playing with the heart rate monitor. 95 days until Daylight Saving Time starts.
