Waking up 12 controls on Burnt Mtn. for the NAOC Long. My first time on the (new) map. Drove to the south end of the map with Alar who then led me out to the "quarry" (control 218). Did a loop of controls (very carefully) and reconnected with Alar to finish up two controls and run back to the car.

Picked up 9 controls in the middle of the Burnt Mtn. map. About a 20 min hike each way. Out in time to make it to dinner at the dining hall (quite a bit changed in 40 years).
