Apex outer loop. I believe the first time I've done this in optimal conditions. Lots of mountain bikers. Probably my last after work trail run without a head lamp this year (although I could have done with one for the last 10 minutes or so). Saw a (very small) snake.
Also got to experience the new Apex trailhead!

News today that another of my favorite orienteering areas (Boggs Mountain) is affected by wildfires. Hoping that everyone in the area stays safe, and the damages to homes is as little as possible.
