Actually loved it! Amazed at how good I felt once I started running, nowhere near as tired as I thought. 2nd lady although should have been 3rd but Charlotte twisted her ankle. Fun! Woke me up.

Bit of a mare. Knew that I was tired out anyway so my aim was to just enjoy running in the mountains again, and run my own race. This worked for most of it, really enjoyed the first section where I was running really well, then the second section where I slowed down loads (realised I had started too fast, but decided to just enjoy it anyway). Then the final section with the ridiculously tough downhills/uphill/downhill I just lost all willpower and felt really fed up and negative, and finally went the wrong way on the last downhill, and losing EVEN MORE time.
So overall, rubbish race, BUT did enjoy being back in the mountains again and beautiful day :)

Worked 8 hrs and served 160 people over lunch so EXHAUSTED and feet hurt so much, so went for a nice cooling swim, felt soooooo much better. Beautiful, shameful how little swimming I've done back home, need to do way more ASAP.
