Xterra trail race @ Riverhead Forest (22km)
No time to warm up and wasn't really mentally prepared, so felt a bit sluggish/unmotivated some of the time, but still managed to run well and so good to be feeling normal again!
V v muddy and free beer at the end though, so good event! 1st lady, 27th overall so happy with result. Think I could have pushed a bit harder if mentally ready for it (and time to warm up) as legs not too bad after, but still, good! :)

Felt absolutely awful at work today. Not felt right all week - just so exhausted, like my brain is in a fog, really weird - by the time it hits the afternoon just want to curl up and sleep!
Almost went straight home to bed but decided to just do a jog and see how I felt - felt suprisingly good running, so did a half sesh. But now rest, going to not think about training and just have a nice early weekend away (day off work tomorrow woooo), and will hopefully some back revitalised!

Superrrr tired and sleep all day, as went camping last night in the FREEZING cold and my brain just felt like it was in a fridge/cloud all day...
Almost didn't do the session but was parked at the domain, and realised if I hung around a bit longer I wouldn't have to drive in so much traffic... glad I did it in the end, woke me up, felt much better, and seemed to actually cure my shin niggles!
