Breakfast run! Miles behind everyone else, but nice to wake up with a run :)

Running (Mountain Hut (Doss)) 2:27:20 [3] 17.72 km (8:19 / km) +750m 6:52 / km

Nice and steady run with Shane, Phil and Dave. Over to Eskdale, down the valley and then back over Harter Fell. Found a different way down on a track which added a couple of km but missed the bog so that was good. Jumped in an amazing pool mid run in Eskdale - beautiful!
Then off to see the hardcore people finishing the Mountain Trial at the pub.

Arrived at Mountain Hut after a long long journey from Peebles! Everyone else knakered from a huge run, but I had loads of energy so ran up Harter Fell. Fine going up and got up in good time, but very very boggy and slow going downhill... apparently rained loads last night so maybe that's why. Then wasn't sure where I could cross the beck to get back to the hut so ended up going all the way back up to Cockley Beck and back on the road. A bit frustrating and took way longer than it should - but good to be in the Lakes!

Had meant to do a massive yoga session and some S&C but felt absolutely exhausted when I got home and kind of sick, ended up going to bed for a while until I felt well enough to do anything... really weird.

Just a gentle jog around the tweed walk circuit thing - up the river on one side and back the other. Actually quite a boring run... just flat long paths, BUT good if want a break from hills I guess. And enjoyed it :)

Just a jog to test the legs out. Felt fine until the end when calves were tightening up a bit.

Watching the Tour of Britain then back to Peebles. Felt exhausted and stomach still a bit weird all morning but feeling much better by the evening. Knees achy though.
