Running warm up/down 20:00 [3] 3.0 km (6:40 / km) +30m 6:21 / km

Jogging about, drills and strides etc.
Annoying because started almost 20 mins late - hate trying to warm up for something then starting late, end up doing aimless running around and jumping on the spot to keep warm!

Running race (Scout Scar) 37:00 [5] 7.35 km (5:02 / km) +187m 4:28 / km

First race of 2016! Safe to say it was very very slow and hard work, but expected that as I've only done a couple of easy runs since November when it all went downhill!
But pleased in the fact that I worked hard, and had a good race with two ladies who I was running with all the way but managed to pull away again on the last hill and sprinted the downhill to stay ahead at the end :)
Bit of a shock to the system but work me up for 2016 :)

Running warm up/down 6:00 [2] 0.9 km (6:40 / km)

Running 39:50 [3] 6.36 km (6:16 / km) +45m 6:03 / km

New Years run around the Town Moor (Newcastleeee/Gosforth) with Jack! Very very slow and very very muddy and just had road shoes so slipping around all over the place! But good to get out for a short one :)

Running 44:44 [3] 7.5 km (5:58 / km) +200m 5:16 / km

Did the old 'normal' loop on the Hay - just managed to beat the rain! At one point the sun broke through the clouds so stopped and rolled my sleeves up and stood there for a bit to try and get some vitamin D - definitely must have a defficiency by now, can't remember the last time I was in direct sunlight! :D

Anyway it was good but calves SO tight - since running again they seem to seize up straight away and then are really sore after each run... will keep stretching them though. Just good to get out - although VERY muddy, came round the road at the end to have a break from it. Also didn't realise how short that loop was! Oh well.

Strength and Conditioning (Climing wall) 30:00 [3]

Climbing wall with Dad, the sister and Jenny! Really fun :)
Extimating the time - think I did about 10 climbs, estimating 5 mins at least each? So probably more than 30mins...

Was really good though, did quite a few 6a's and a 6a+. Tried to attempt the 6a I couldn't do last time and failed again - just seems impossible! I can't reach! Oh well, one day. :)

Running (Coed-y-Benin trail run) 47:42 [3] 7.62 km (6:16 / km) +180m 5:36 / km

Did the shorter loop with Dad before setting off home - was meant to be 8.4km but the diversions made it a little less this time.
Happy with that though as I felt exhausted beforehand! But felt much better after so glad I ran :) :)
Legs keep seizing up after all runs though, definitely out of practice :(
