Circuits warm up/down (Youtube Ab & HIIT workout) 5:45 [2]

Felt really stiffened up from sitting all day yesterday and this morning so decided to do a quick whole body thing from Youtube and this was the first one I found - in the end it was harder than anticipated! Also made me realise how awful my core is, so need to work on that this term.

Strength and Conditioning (Youtube Ab & HIIT workout) 12:30 [3]

First section after the warm up was Abs:
- 15 intervals, each with a different exercise
- 50s on, 10s off

Circuits (Youtube Ab & HIIT workout) 9:20 [4]

HIIT section:
20s on, 10s off, x 4 for each exercise.
After the set of 4, a 20s break before the next.
7 exercises in total.

= 9mins 20s without the rest (I think!)

Running 45:28 [3] 6.9 km (6:35 / km) +150m 5:57 / km

Was going to do intervals but foot has been tweeking a bit so thought I'd just stretch the legs with a normal run.
Jogged really slowly as felt really heavy from those exercises! But really really nice evening, SO nice and quiet :)

(rest day)

Travelling home from Rye! Sad to leave :'(
But happy to be heading North again... stupidly long journey though, horrible sitting still for so long!

Running tempo 23:35 [4] 5.02 km (4:42 / km) +3m 4:41 / km

Got some new business today so we all went to the pub after work so I missed insanity - so decided to run instead but only a short one as getting dark. So just ran around Camber Castle at a quickish pace (although varied a lot as there are so many gates). Really enjoyed it.

Running warm up/down 6:35 [3] 0.99 km (6:39 / km)

Jogged back really slowly to try and cool down before going into the warm!

Note
(rest day)

Knees feeling a bit achy, and felt a bit strange up the back of my right leg/back - but felt alright really!

Running long 1:56:48 [3] 21.0 km (5:34 / km) +20m 5:32 / km

Wanted to do a 15km+ run, but decided yesterday if I was going to do that, may as well do an extra lap and make it 20, so may as well do a half marathon!

Just jogged along. Enjoyed it, didn't feel to hard at all, just legs feeling a bit dead at the end but in general still had a lot of energy. Lots of niggles as expected (L foot, top of R leg, knees) but nothing feels particularly bad now so was fine! Fun fun fun :)

Only regret is listening to music for most of it - got sick of it on the last lap so took it out and it was soooooooo much nicer, so quiet apart from the geese flying over! However did feel a bit harder after that, but may have been because I had stopped running so was hard to get going again.

Running 51:48 [3] 10.0 km (5:11 / km) +4m 5:10 / km

Normal run again, 2 laps of the Camber Castle loop. Was going to do 3 but thought if I did 3 I was as well do 4, and that might not be the best thing to do after spinning. So just did 10k and will do a longer run tomorrow :)

Cycling (Spinning) 20:00 [3]

Spinnng at Freedom Leisure - really good class! Good instructer and motivational, and easy to make it really tough. As per very hot but not as bad as a lot of spinning studios.

Did a LOT of very high resistance stuff so very focused on strength, only one track of fast stuff and it was basically the whole song of legs moving very fast but at the same speed for the whole thing.
Anyway, good, just need to make sure the knees recover properly. :)
