Note

Once off the hill Dad ran ahead to get the car and I carried on walking, and he drove back and picked me up. Hard work even walking now, and started feeling kind of sick. Time for some rest days to get back on track.
11 AM

Running long (Bob Graham Leg 1) 1:21:00 [3] 8.12 km (9:59 / km) +800m 6:41 / km

First split up to the top of Skiddaw. Felt fine, slow pace. SO WINDY on top?! Could barely stand up, so slowed us down quite a bit as couldn't really run at all on the top part.

Running long (Bob Graham Leg 1) 41:17 [3] 4.23 km (9:46 / km) +200m 7:54 / km

Down Skiddaw and up to Great Calva. Extremely boggy so that was slow going as well.

Running long (Bob Graham Leg 1) 1:13:44 [3] 5.65 km (13:03 / km) +480m 9:10 / km

Down and up to the top of Blencathra. Legs just somehow seized up completely and just felt like so much effort to move at all... felt like I did on my run two days ago, just totally dead as if I was pulling a cart full of bricks, and really unbalanced... not good :(

Running long (Bob Graham Leg 1) 34:49 [3] 3.83 km (9:05 / km) +25m 8:48 / km

Ran down off towards Keswick, having to drop down to the right to get out of the wind (SO STRONG).
Legs absolutely gone now, miles behind Dad felt awful, so much effort just to jog :( Feel like I have overtrained in the last couple of weeks and now it's all catching up with me... two weeks of shorter faster runs and nothing too intense I think.

Cycling 2:23:52 [3] 30.23 mi (4:46 / mi) +500m 4:32 / mi

(48.65km)
Really nice bike ride through Brigham, Dean, Rowrah, Kirkland, Loweswater, Thackthwaite and back to Cockermouth. Pretty easy, no really hard hills and a nice route to blast round I imagine if you know the route (had to keep stopping to check the map)! Good ride, just a short one as long run tomorrow.

Running warm up/down 11:46 [3] 1.72 km (6:50 / km) +47m 6:01 / km

Felt AWFUL! Like I was really heavy and my legs just wouldn't move and kept wobbling around all over the place - no idea what was wrong just felt pathetic!?
Anyway so decided to do a hill rep to try and wake myself up.

Running hills 2:33 [4] 0.48 km (5:19 / km) +36m 3:52 / km

Quite tough but could have gone faster. But nice to do some speed, have just been doing normal runs for so so long now.

Running 31:32 [3] 5.08 km (6:12 / km) +80m 5:45 / km

Just the rest of the normal shorter run. Was going to make it longer but just felt SO pathetic and all seized up, so decided to go home and stretch loads and rest. Hopefully will be better for my bike ride tomorrow and long run Sunday.

Note
(rest day)

Was going to do something but ended up taking Dad to Carlisle to get his cast off. Did some shopping and for some reason my right achilles/foot/ankle got pregressively painful throughout the day for some reason? So decided to rest for today.

Running 56:01 [3] 8.74 km (6:25 / km) +200m 5:45 / km

Nice run up the Hay, did the extra part of running down the track on the left once through the gate and in the wood, and then all of the way back up and round the wiggly path route. Fun and steady :)
