Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Running race (Fell race) 31:00 [4] 3.3 km (9:24 / km) +405m 5:49 / km

Really enjoyed it, beautiful day!
Straight up and down, I was doing ok on the uphill, kept jogging for quite a bit and overtook a few people, but as soon as I started going back down a load of them overtook me. Really need to work on my descending - expected it to be slippy and rocky but actually it was fine, should have been so much faster - just need to be more brave!
Anyway good race, and don't feel too tired which is good as me and Dad are jogging around the first half of the Ennerdale tomorrow! :)
Leg a bit sore but ok.

Orienteering 57:40 [2] 7.1 km (8:07 / km)
(injured)

Boxing day orienteering event - 'interesting score'.
Had to start by running to number 16 which was in the middle of the area, then had to go even-odd-even for the rest in any order, until all where collected. Actually really enjoyed it and it didn't rain, but found it so frustrating as felt like I wanted to properly race, but just couldn't move fast because my leg really hurt - just got slower and slower! Plus it was a real 'runners' race so it was annoying going backwards and forwards to slowly. Oh well.

Running long 1:25:35 [3] 14.0 km (6:07 / km)

Started off as a straight-forward 'Christmas Day family jog' on Sale Fell, then Charlotte said she was going to run home via Setmurthy so thought that I would too. Wasn't sure it was going to be a good idea as my lungs felt awful at the beginning, but they sorted themselves out just as my IT band seized up - still managed to really enjoy it though!
Lungs do feel a bit tired now though - hoping this cough will completely go away soon as I am SO sick of it, and not sure what else I can do to get it to go away!

Note

Haven't done anything since the run on the 19th as was horrendously ill (stomach bug) that night and since then haven't been feeling right/been exhausted. Think I'm pretty much ok now though apart from the cough still hanging on!

Stretching 17:00 [0]

Didn't have time to do all of my stretching before leaving for Grans
