Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]

20 mins warm up, 10 mins cool down

Running race (Braids XC Edinbrugh) 21:38 [4] 5.0 km (4:20 / km) +80m 4:00 / km

Really fun! Felt super de-motivated at the start but really enjoyed it actually... started too far back though and it was narrow so hard to overtake, but it meant I was passing people all of the time which was motivational!

Note
(injured)

Physio appointment: Very good physio. Basically when I run my right foot does most of the work because of my left ankle being inflexible/weak. I also might be running slightly to far on the outside of my foot which puts more strain on it. So I need to do more strenght work on both feet (for the arches) and ankles, and get my left ankle more flexible. We found a bruise on the sore part of my foot which is strange, as I'm pretty sure the same bruise has been there for ages... kind of worrying.
But he said it was ok to run (he was right - it hasnt made it worse), just start with the exercises and also ice it occasionally.

Also found out that deep heat is a waste of money!

Note
(injured)

On my walk back from Uni the outside of the right food started gettting really painful, and by the time I got back I was limping and I can feel the pain creeping up into my calf as well.
Will have to miss running tonight (SO ANNOYED). Will do lots of 'foam roller-ing' and maybe get some ice on it, and hope it is just a temporary niggle. Probably all of that tarmac pounding yesterday which I'm not used to? Which is also annoying as otherwise, it was a really good session which I wouldn't want to miss next week!

Circuits 10:00 [4]

Made up my own quick circuit of 30 of each exercise with jogging on the spot in the middle.
Exercises: Straddle jumps, star jumps, squats, press ups, squat thrusts, v-sit bicycle legs, v-bends, plank (30s), straddle-plank-hip-drop, single leg squats, side planks, tricep dips, hopping, left leg wobble board, right leg wobble board, heel-up wall sit, burpees.
Fun!

Circuits 10:00 [3]

6 PM

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3] 2.9 km (5:10 / km)

Running 50:00 [4] 10.5 km (4:46 / km)

Run with XC from Cromer Terrace. Went for the 'slow 7 mile group'.... urm, not 'slow'. Verging on a tempo run I thought, but think I must just be really unfit as everyone else seemed fine! Hoping it was just the effect of the circuits though....
Good though :)

Running warm up/down 8:00 [3] 1.6 km (5:00 / km)
