Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Warmup with lucy =)

Orienteering race (British Champs Relay) 34:56 [5] 5.2 km (6:43 / km) +160m 5:49 / km

Womens Premier : Charlotte, Me, Helen Windskill

Charlotte came back second so I was chasing bex harding, but she wasnt to far ahead so managed to catch her by no.1, then overtook at no.3, then we were basicly together for the rest of it, apart from some different route choices. Managed to keep ahead untill no.9 were I made a mistake so but caught her again at the next one, then she got ahead at no.12, and couldnt catch her again so finished about 20s behind... was really pleased with my run though but then went to download and found Id mispunched at number 7 where there was a control on each side of a massive earth wall ridge thing, and Id gone to the wrong one =(
So was really dissapointed because my team would have won, but still pretty pleased with my run otherwise

Orienteering race (British Champs) 54:37 [5] 5.3 km (10:18 / km) +110m 9:20 / km

Abraham's Valley & Wolseley Park (Cannock)

Was really dissapointed because was winning most of the way untill no.10 where i made a stupid 11min mistake =(

1# good, 2# a bit hesitant but good, 3# good,
4# went to far down some really complex ridge, just lost concentration so was to far left, (lost30s)
5# good
6# This was definatly mapped wrong, it was meant to be the end of a re-entrant in the open, but it was covered by the bushes so got a bit confused, (lost 50s)
7#,8#,9# good
10# DISASTER!!! Was just abit to low, and found a control that was just below mine, then thought I'd gone to far, so went back, then thought I hadnt gone far enough so went over the next ridge (so went close past my control like 3 times) and found a track which I thought was a different one with the massive taped off part that wasnt marked on the map in front of me. So I thought my control was in the taped part so asked the man and he said i had to run round and it would be on the other side (so i thought they had had to move the contols a bit or something)
Anyways I ran all the way round which was about 400m, and ended up at my no.11! Then had to run all the way back up the hill again =(
11,12# fine
13# on the wrong ridge but relocated quickly
14,15# fine

Really dissapointed because without that stupid big mistake i might have won, would have definatly have been 2nd/1st =(

Jog up to the top of my hill

Running intervals (Speeeeeeed ) 4:00 [5]

Did a really short interval session;
30s x 6
20s x 3

did it flat out sprinting on a slightly undulating path =)

1:30 rest inbetween the first ones then 1:20 rest between the 20s ones

Running warm up/down 15:36 [2] 2.3 mi (6:47 / mi)

Jog back down the hill

Stretching 7:15 [1]

Shortish run, usual short loop that I do, running at a good pace and just a short run - get me speedy for the weekend!!! =D

Good session for speed today - week before BOC aswell!!! Feel really tired today though
6 AM

cross training warm up/down (sit-down-bike) 7:00 [2]

cross training intervals (sit-down-bike) 20:00 [4]

Did some 30s hard intervals of 30s hard 30s easy, wasnt great because the seat was SOO uncomfy!!!

Running hills 12:00 [4]

Went out onto a tinyyy little hill and did some short fast reps on them, not much recovery - then some continuous reps up and down the hill
Speed work mostly =) felt really tired today though for some reason "/

Cross training/Circuits 5:00 [4]

Exercises in a race thing were one person runs throwing the ball back and forwards to people, and you have to do the exercises before the ball gets back to you
Did press ups for one set, then star jumps, then squad thrusts

Running 3:00 [5]

Was the runner in the game thing we did =) lots of changing direction
