Running warm up/down 8:00 [3]

Orienteering race (British Sprint Champs) 11:41 [5] 1.96 km (5:58 / km) +20m 5:40 / km

Astley Village - Junior Heat
Did really well and had a pretty clean run which was good, planned ahead and ran fast and came 2nd out of the girls behind lucy =) so pretty pleased with my race =) It didnt count for anything though apart from the seeded start times for the final

Orienteering race (British Sprint Champs) 15:15 [5] 2.0 km (7:38 / km) +30m 7:06 / km

Final

Was doing really well, focused and going fast, felt a bit sick but just a 'running fast after lunch with not much warmup' kindoff sick so knew i could keep going fine becuase it was a short race
But then! Made the stupidest mistake you could make on the whole course on spectator control that i already knew where they were! Lost about 1:30 which is agesss, then started feeling even more ill, so that slowed me down alot aswell =( really annoyed, but atleast it didnt count for anything!

Had a really fun day though +nice and sunny =)

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Left it a bit late setting off to the start because thought my start time was 10 minutes later than it was ... so 20mins before my start I realised so went to get ready, but then realised I had forgotten to bring my o-shoes to assembly!! So had to borrow some of matt nash's old ones which were a size 6
Was quite funny really, but hopefully it wont happen again!

Orienteering race (British Middle Champs) 29:40 [5]

SELECTION RACE =D Haverthwaite
Did really well, really pleased with my result and run, my new 'mental attitude bofore a race thing' worked!

1+2# both fine, just getting into the map, realised pretty soon that controls where well hidden so going confidently into controls saved time

3# messed up which was annoying because I must have ran straight past where it was but didnt see it, lost about a minute in the end but got straight back into the course again which was good =)

4,5,6# spot on, running well and confidently and flowing really well through the controls

7# Contour interpretation mistake, went wayyy to high but I didnt actually need to climb atall, but realised quickly so good - didnt seem to loose much time compared to everyone else which was good positionwise but definalty have been quicker

8,9,10,11# all good, a bit hesitant on 9 and 11 but otherwise fine

12# lost time by misreading the contours again and loosing concentration a bit on the downhill, but nothing major

13# made another mistake by running off down completly the wrong ridge, but relocated well

14,15,16,17,18,19# All good, fastest splits on the last parts =D

Overall a good run, alot of time could have been saved in places, but a good result and I got a medal! Also fastest slits on the hilly legs so northeners power payed off =D

Did 1km, 500m, 1km, 500m, 1km on the 1km loop - really good session, quite hard =)

1km# Not sure of the time because my watch wnet funny but im guessing about 4:55
500m# 2:25
1km# 4:57
500m# 2:03
1km# 4:53

Had about 2mins rest after the 500m's and 2:30 after the 1km's =)

Did a load of random things;
5 laps of the sport centre,
50 press ups,
2 fast km on the tredmill,
50 sit ups,
1km on the cross trainer,
50 burpees,
2km on bike

pretty hard this week because there were no rests and not really any easy stuff but good =)

Been away in Devon and London and got back on Friday then getting all the school work done over the weekend!! So had a good rest and a few more days getting the speed in my legs for this weekend!! =D
