Orienteering race (club summer league) 40:19 [5] 4.7 km (8:35 / km) +200m 7:04 / km

Southerndale

Really good felt pretty dead on the way to the start but felt much better when I started running =)
Nice hilly open area with heather so quite physical - trying to keep up with mhairi and overtake dad and douglous so was a good race =D

really enjoyed it and got a good time aswell =) yay!

Running warm up/down 12:30 [3] 1.5 km (8:20 / km)

jogged up the hill - didnt feel i had much energy atall =(

Running hills 15:40 [5]

ran this really steep hill to a point (about 45s) then jogged down x 5 then had a minute rest and did it again

felt really tired and was hard to push myself, managed for the first half but the second half was really hard

Went for a shorter run but went faster than i usually would
was ok but felt really slow and i usually do a faster time =S

Running 47:30 [3] 7.0 km (6:47 / km) +150m 6:08 / km

went really slowly just jogging because i wanted to see how my legs felt because my shin splints were coming back a bit at the scottish

was good - felt my right shin when i first started but by the end it was fine =)
nice to get out i havent ran up my hill in more than three weeks!!! =O

leg stretches - from now on i am going to do 10 minutes of leg stretches and 10 minutes of ankle strengthning every day - my legs feel much looser already just from today!!! =)
