Running warm up/down 21:00 [3]

WU: jogging, lots of dynamic stretches and strides - felt quite slow at ploddy at the start but then by the end i was fine

WD: slow jog and walk back round fields

Running intervals (fast work) 24:00 [5]

1min sprint, 2min rest (walking) times 8

found them quite hard so must've been pushing myself quite a bit!!!

Note

had a headace all day - don't know why because i wasn't dehydrated

also asthma felt bad at the start because in tech i breathed in loads of dust so thats probably why - was ok in the end though

didn't feel great after intervals either but ok now =D

Running (short) 36:00 [4] 5.5 km (6:33 / km)

dad got back home really late so only went out at 7 so was running in the dark wooo!!!
only went on a short run because it was so late =)

Running intervals (fast work) 9:30 [5] 1.8 km (5:17 / km)

did some really fast sprints as the start of my 'fast' part of training

so did 30s flat out sprint, then 90s rest, then 30s flat out, 2min rest; 30s, 90s, 30s, 2min, 30s

felt really good to be running that fast - it thinks i havnt ran that fast since last year!!!! =)

Running warm up/down 4:00 [2]

quick warm down after the intervals - just jogged back home

Quite an active warm up again:
Basketball 'non contact' - was really good - didnt actually end up non contact though!!!! Then we did some relay stuff - team of three then one length of the gym each at a time doing a kind of relay thing - the first ones were like dynamic stretches then we did races so it was quite tiring

then a few stretches

Then we did a circuit:
10laps then jumping over a set of benches;
then 10laps then the benches then 10 each of squats, press ups, burpees, wall jumps and straddles; then did it again but with 9, then 8 then 7

did some situps but didnt do them all because my stomach is still sore from the fitness tests on saturday!!!!

finished with some stretches

didn't go to orienteering today because im not feeling great still =( also had loads of things to do at home
